Inflatable unicorn horn for cats

Friday, September 28, 2012

Apparently, it makes your cat really happy.
Your cat makes a show of being regal and in control, but you could turn all that around with this Inflatable Unicorn Horn for Cats. It's a vinyl, 5-1/2" (14 cm) long unicorn horn with a four-point elastic strap system that holds it comfortably on a kitty's noggin. Why have just a regular cat, when you could have a uni-cat?

Friday, September 28, 2012

Video filmed with a helmet cam during combat in Afghanistan's Kunar Province shows a US soldier getting shot several times, after drawing attention on him while his squad was pinned down by a Taliban machine gun.
" I got a hit a total of 4 times. My helmet cam died and i made it down the mountain on my own. I was also hit in the side of my helmet and my eye pro was shot off of my face. We were doing overwatch on the village to recon and gather intel. I was point heading down the face of the hill with the LT. when we got hit. the rest of the squad was pinned down by machine gun fire. I didn't start the video until a few mins into the firefight for obvious reasons. I came out into the open to draw fire so my squad could get to safety."
Fortunately, no rounds penetrated his body armor and he made it home with no permanent injuries.

Charles Manson writes Marilyn Manson from prison

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

Last month, convicted serial killer Charles Manson sent this letter to Marilyn Manson - whose name is the combination of Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson, which he considers the biggest icons of the 1960s.

Here's a transcript, but there's not much more you'll understand from it.
To Marilyn Manson –

It’s taken me a long time to get there from where I could touch M. Manson. Now I got a card to play – you may look into my non-profit, ATWA, and give Manson what you think he’s got coming for Air, Trees, Water, and you. Or I will pay Manson what you think Manson got coming – the music has make Manson into Abraxas Devil, and I’m SURE you would want some of what I got from what I got. It’s a far out balance. Beyond good and bad, right, wrong. What you don’t do is what I will do – what you did a sing-along, and let it roll and said how you saved me a lot of steps – I don’t need, it’s not a need or a want. Couped – coup. Ghost dancers slay together and you’re just in my grave Sunstroker Corona-coronas-coronae – you seen me from under with it all standing on me. That’s 2 dump trucks – doing the same as CMF 000007

When the President talks about Change, he means it. First on the list is all presidential addresses being issued atop his mighty lion while he wields his crossbow and DARPA issued Light Saber.

Then, every time after that when he'd be crying for no reason (we knew his diaper was clean, tummy was full, etc.) and we'd play this song, he'd perk right up.

Toilet windows

Tuesday, September 18, 2012

From Nothing To Do With Arbroath:
You're sitting on the toilet in a New York hotel minding your own business, when all of a sudden someone standing outside on the street waves at you. And they are taking photos. The floor to ceiling windows are not blacked out.

Restroom users at the Boom Boom Room club on the 18th floor of the The Standard Hotel are completely visible from the street below as they do their business, thanks to 10-foot, floor-to-ceiling windows. The toilet-sitters get wondrous skyline views.

But the windows work both ways — much to the chagrin of relief-seekers after they’re told what could be seen from the street.

Things that exist: The halfkeyboard

The ultra-compact Half Keyboard is a one-handed version of the standard desktop keyboard. It uses full-size, high-quality laptop-style keys for excellent typing comfort and speed.

How does it work?
Typing with one hand is a lot like typing with two hands...
1. Place your hand on the keyboard, in the standard position.

2. The letters under your hand are exactly the same as on a regular keyboard. You already know how to type them – no learning required!

3. For the other half of the keyboard, you need to hold down the space bar. When you hold down the space bar, the keys under your hand change to the other half of the keyboard.

4. To type a space, just tap the space bar.
