Batman theme song medley

Monday, September 29, 2014

The Piano Guys perform a medley of the theme songs from the 1960's Batman, the 1989 Batman by Danny Elman, and the one by Hans Zimmer from the Dark Knight trilogy.
Holy hemiola, Batman! 50 years of music and film all rolled together in front of the cars that have become icons of super hero history. This is one of those projects we’ve wanted to do from the very beginning of The Piano Guys. We love super heroes, the dramatic music that has brought them to life, and the vivid films that have made them legends. We used piano, cello, handheld cameras, a radio controlled helicopter, and some scrappy special effect techniques in the most creative ways possible to emulate the three epic eras of one of the greatest super heroes ever created: BATMAN!

Woman sues Disney, claiming that "Frozen" is based on her life

Friday, September 26, 2014

Peruvian author Isabella Tanikumi has filed a law suit against The Walt Disney Company for $250 million, saying that their blockbuster Frozen was inspired, not by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, but by her book Yearnings of the Heart, in which tells the story of her growing up in the Andean mountains of Peru. The woman claims Disney copied the feeling, story, characters and plot from her original work and is demanding a jury trial.

Here's an excerpt from the complaint she filed, made available by E! Online, in which she highlights 18 specific examples that show the parallels between her work and Frozen.
