Ads proclaiming, "Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness' sake," will appear on Washington, D.C., buses starting next week and running through December. The American Humanist Association unveiled the provocative $40,000 holiday ad campaign Tuesday. - Link

I see from the AOL poll results that 69% of readers of that story (that I am going to assume are American) think these adverts are a bad idea.

Where as, when the British Humanist Association started a Just Giving campaign to raise just £5,500 for their bus advert campaign in london they ended up getting £119,495.

It makes be proud to be British.
