Amazing architecture of the day: the Earthscraper

It's like a skyscraper, only inverted, and BNKR Arquitectura, a Mexican architecture company, came up with it. It would be built in the middle of Mexico City (yes, the one built on a lake) and it would be housing, among others, a museum dedicated to the Aztec culture (the first 10 floors, out of the 65).

I love the idea but isn't Mexico City pretty active seismically? I can't imagine the carnage a large earthquake could cause to a structure like that.
