Inmates in Alabama prison do the Mannequin challenge

Thursday, November 17, 2016

A video filmed illegally, as video cameras or cell phones are not allowed in prison, in an Alabama Department of Corrections dormitory, shows a group of about 30 inmates taking on the Mannequin Challenge, posing as prisoners doing what prisoners usually do.

From The Daily Mail:
It remains unclear inside what prison the 53 second clip was filmed in and by who, AL.com reported.

The original post on Facebook, uploaded by an unofficial account, read: 'Free us… prison reform… free my family!'

The post, which alludes to being the work of a prisoner, included the hashtags #ALLlivesMATTER, #GodLovesAll, and #ChaingangChallange.

Alabama Department of Corrections Spokesman Bob Horton confirmed they are investigating the source of the video and trying to determine whether it was uploaded by an inmate or a guard.
