Travel video of the day: Man high-fives the world

Friday, June 5, 2015

YouTube user Craig Lewis has quit his job and took on an 18-month trip around the world, and now he used the footage from his GoPro camera to create this compilation transitioned with high-fives.
36 countries in a little over a year. I worked and saved for 3 years and quit to travel the world. I hitchhiked, couch surfed, slept in airports, train aisles, floors, anywhere I needed to. I volunteered in Africa and flew wing suits in California. I trekked to Mt Everest base camp and Base jumped off antennas in England. I made mates for life all around the world. This is the story of my trip! Thanks to everyone who was a part of it, it wouldn't have been the same without you!

Especially while traveling, people are so kind to newcomers who show active interest in learning about the local culture. As with any social situations, it’s good to watch what others are doing to avoid faux pas, and don’t be afraid to ask!
