Stratosphere jump finally carried out

Yesterday, daredevil Felix Baumgartner finally made his Red Bull-powered jump from the edge of space as promised, breaking more than one world record.

After reaching an altitude of 128,097 feet, the 43-year old Austrian jumped from his balloon, reaching a speed of 1137 km per hour in freefall.
