Pro-tip: Never run a cop over with your car

Car enthusiast Damian Morys was filming this cop writing a ticket for a Ferrari 458 Spider parked in front of a hotel in Soho, NYC, when the owner comes out of the hotel, gets in his car and tries to drive away. When he runs over the officer's foot, things get more interesting.

You see the police shift stance putting his foot under the wheel, this was easily avoidable.
Bloody cops.
But.
The car owner can hardly be suprised to be ticketed when parking there and as for trying to drive off, charge the bugger with as much as possible.
The cop moved to stand in front of the car when the bugger made like he was trying to leave. It isn't clear at all that he deliberately put his foot in the path of the tyre.
I'm no friend of cops, but in this case the rich asshole is the jerk, not the cop.
That's Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) from CSI: Miami! No wonder he has a sweet car and a quasi-famous girlfriend!
Bugger should have known better, I would have known a cop would do that. His loss for thinking the cop was an idiot.
