The stolen camera finder is a real thing

In case your photo camera's been stolen: you go to this site, you upload a photo taken with it, and the site crawls the Internet searching for photos taken with the same camera, localizing them by hidden information about both the image (exif data).

You have to hope they'll upload something to the internet, but otherwise this is great!
