Great summary. One thing (to be a nit-picking Brit) is that the Channel Islands comprise more than just Jersey and Guernsey. Alderney and Sark are two more of reasonable size and there are others.

^Alderney, Sark and Herm are part of Guernsey (Bailiwick of Guernsey).

I'm an Englishman who now lives in Malaysia. I always have a hard time explaining to locals the difference between England, Great Britain and the United Kingdom!
