Hero of the day: Thom Yorke

Wednesday, June 2, 2010

Watch the lead singer of Radiohead stop the concert when he spots a young man in the audience who seems to not be feeling so well, call security and an ambulance and then resume everything in a very professional manner.

(Skip to minute 27.40 if you're not interested in watching a whole Radiohead concert from 2003)

Without discussing Radiohead's music, Thom Yorke achieved something great here.

The singer and leader of the french band "Noir Desir" did the same in one of their concert. People at the front of the stage were smashed against the barrier so he stopped singing and asked the crowd to chill out.

I think it shows respect for the fans.
