Of course, you would have to remember to declare sheep as a long int: http://xkcd.com/571/

I contend that that is not actually 'counting' sheep as you don't at any given time know the value of "sheep" without evaluating it ;)

What if you fall sleep for a second then wake up again?

Anonymous said...

I hate when I'm about to fall sleep and sheeps overflow, make it a long please.

Anonymous said...

George, we might have to use a try catch for that

Anonymous said...

Sheep needs to be a short. If it's long it won't work. Sheep is only effective after it overflows a few times...

++sheep; // Creating and discarding a sheep is wasteful! Cloning ain't cheap, ya know!

I prefer it as a limerick http://www.bash.org/?845468

var sheep = 0;
while (man.stillAwake == true)
{
sheep++;
}

its one statement you dont need the brackets

while(mahself.stillAwake())
sheep++;

though, thats a matter of preference.

funny comic, ^__^
