Homeless guy sings Creep

Tuesday, December 15, 2009

A homeless man named Mustard does a pretty unique interpretation of Radiohead's song:

From Metafilter:
Every so often, the Opie and Anthony radio show run a Homeless Shopping Spree, where they take some homeless people off the streets and take them out to an upscale mall to buy clothes for them. This year, a man who calls himself Mustard mentioned to them that he used to be a musician, so they gave him a guitar.

I had the opportunity to see this year's live "Homeless Talent Show" - and it was the first O & A show I had ever heard/seen. Mustard was there, and sang 2 songs - Boys Don't Cry and another which I cannot recall the title to. His voice and emotion behind it is amazing. I hope O&A work a record deal with him. He was a very polite, well spoken, friendly, like-able guy.
