Adopted owl baby orphans

Thursday, November 15, 2007

Pretty funny picture, huh? Well, this is really happening. A group of orphaned baby owls snuggle up to a cuddly toy which has become their surrogate mother after they were found on the brink of death in the wild.

Some guy found the little chicks, all aged between just four and eight weeks, being attacked by cats and brought them to an animal hospital. They were taken buy experts to the New Forest Otter, Owl & Wildlife Park at Longdown in the New Forest, Hants, where they found their new mommie.
