York College students and staff gather around to pray for fellow student, Sam Mwago at last Friday’s chapel. After discovering that Mwago’s mother had died unexpectedly in Kenya, students and faculty at York College took up a collection for him. The collection brought in $3,800, more than three times the amount he needed for a plane ticket to return home to Kenya for the funeral.
