Idiots... First off, We are the SPECIES of Humans, secondly, the races are Black, Oriental, White, and European.. Thirdly, everything else would still in a way, consider itself a race, these only being the MAJORITY (ex: Germans, French, and British are all Europeans, China, Japan and Korea are all Oriental, etc.) Lastly, there is a picture of a kitten getting ironed, therefore all your arguments are invalid from thereon, OK? I just want to quickly comment, and feel free to look this up: Jewish is not a race. Anyone can be Jewish because Jewish is a religion based off from Judaism. It's like your saying Catholic is a race. Not all Jewish people share a common ancestry. Often they are of Hebrew descent which is a race. And it's a religion that people tend to be born into, like being Mormon, it's almost more of a way of life. I wouldn't say that it's incorrect to say someone is being racist toward Jews, but to harp on someone for it is really stupid. I'm sure every single person who read that comment could come to the conclusion that they meant prejudice, but because people love to argue the ensuing conversation just happened.
I also want to say (and I never write on these things but I've been using StumbleUpon all day and every site is always the same) people always get into these pissing contest and I never really understand why! Your opinion is great and I'm glad you have it but what is the need to share it with everyone. A picture that I found funny, I'm now just pissed off cause I read all these stupid comments. If you didn't like it there is this little button up in the corner, it has an X on it and it's going to make that offensive picture go away!
Anyway, I just had some pent up irritation towards these endless conversations so I thought I'd put my two cents in!
Well, traditionally there are only three distinct races: caucasian, africanoid, and mongloid. Furthermore, when the concept of "race" as we know it today we being developed, skin was often not the deciding factor as to what "race" you were considered.
However, since it was all bullshit pseudoscience to begin with that has since been proven genetically to have no merit, I say you can use whatever the fuck terms you want.
Ethnicity is really a much more accurate way of describing social groups, and while I would not consider jews to be a race, they certainly are an ethnic group.

It's amazing that the only group there has been real animosity toward in this whole ignorant exchange is the Jews.
Jews are per capita the most generous citizens in this country, donating way more by family than any other race religion or group. Sure, Jews work hard, have a culture that holds high regard for education, aspire to succeed in business, and enjoy the financial rewards of that hard work. How does that make them greedy?

oh g-d! Jews are a race. Race is based on genetics and having common ancestors. Religion is a belief.
Italians, Mexicans etc may often look similar cause lots of them might have ancestors from that area, but if someone moves into Mexico from Italy they can be called Mexican, therefore Mexican Italian etc is not a race but a citizenship, But many people within those countries could be described as being racially similar.
So you can have an Italian jew who follows the jewish faith. Therefore a CITIZEN of Italy from the jewish RACE whose BELIEF is Judaism.
And ethnicity is any common belief or ancestry. So it sort of covers anything. rant over :)
