Friday, January 28, 2011
Kayla Kearney is a senior student at Maria Carrillo High School in Santa Rosa, CA. and she is giving a speech about being gay in front of her whole school during an assembly honoring Dr. Martin Luther King jr. She tells it like it is.

Lol, lezzer.
If homosexuals just want to be equal, why do we assemble in public places to hear their stories?
Good on her. A very powerful speech from such a young woman. Good on her!
lol this is in a school from my area. how awkward is that
lol i go to college right down the street... YOU GO GIRL
I'm sick of the LGBT community equating Dr. King and African American Civil Liberties.
No, you were never made to sit on the back of the bus, you were never banned from being gay at school, you were never enslaved as a race of gays, and it will never ever be the same, so stop making this racist and unintelligible connection.
They're just asking to be treated equal. That's why they refer to Dr. King. Just asking to be equal.
It's not rocket science.
lol troll'd
good job... I hope I can be as strong as her...
