I will never throw a bottle away without the cap again. My shit floats, so that all can see it.
I'm sorry, but i must continue my comment.
This is actually kinda cool, at least the concept is. If it was lined with something, it would be perfect. Screw the natural habitat, it's just another river, why not line it so the crap doesn't go into the ground.
Oh.
To me, this is actually as interesting as a regular clean river. I live near one, during the day I watch aircraft occasionally flying over it. I can't see the river, but if I could, at least with the garbage, there's always something to watch.
I know this is a horrible thing, a river of garbage. But bizarrely I try to look at the positive in everything, because if I only look at the bad, what's life worth?
Yes, somebody slipped me a drink, time for the psycho to find out just what the hell just happened to him.
what's wrong with the people of this country :S
great point of view Psycho BILL
Nope I used to fish there. There is a dam about a mile upstream and a couple of sand mines or quarries. I think this happened because of the heavy rain and most of all because nobody does anything to collect the garbage. There is no way you can recycle anything over here. One must have the hart and the space to store his trash, then drive it to some place where they might collect it. Most people don't find it convenient mostly because they (should I include myself?) really dont give a fuck...
