I would laugh, it looks ridiculous.
He's a good-looking guy otherwise. Anyway, the article makes it clear that making fun of the beard wasn't really an issue in itself. He felt discriminated against, and hints that his job performance may have been more of an issue than his religious choices.
Took me a minute to put my finger on it but I think the strangeness is in lack of moustache to go with the beard.
we should respect everyones religon does not matter wht another person has

there is no such thing in islam. beard is not compulsory item of islam. not even a single word in Quran to grow beard. he is just a hypocrate guy.

Forget religion! Beards are natural. I'm sick of beard discrimination. I think this guy's beard is friendly :) People at work shouldn't make fun of your appearance anyway - what is this, high school?

the guy is ridiculous because Islamic jurisprudence states: "and let go your beards" so that it appears natural and only clip the stray hairs here and there ... but this guy has butchered it in such a bloody way its looks bloody ridiculous. Yes, I would laugh at him. He is stuck between two worlds, growing a proper bloody beard, and trimming it to look acceptable, and he has faltered at both. ha ... ha ... ha ... u egg.
