Shipping website Barrington Freight takes a look at some of the most famous ships that have appeared in films, TV, games and literature.
Man has always had a calling to the sea, an urge to go out and discover what lies beyond the horizon and the vessels we built to take us there are undoubtedly responsible for shaping the world we live in. From the Santa Maria carrying Christopher Columbus to the new world, or Admiral Nelson’s HMS Victory in the battle of Trafalgar, each has had an effect in its own right.
