The evolution of the NYC skyline seen from One World Trade Center elevator

The One World Observatory atop the One World Trade Center is opening May 29, 2015, and to honor the occasion, The New York Times has created this time-lapse video that shows the evolution of the city's skyline, from the 1500s to today, as seen from the "sky pod" that travel to the 102nd floor of the building in only 47 seconds.
