The moment LeVar Burton's "Reading Rainbow" Kickstarter campaign reached $1 million

LeVar Burton (Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation) raised over $2 million on the first day of his "Bring Reading Rainbow Back for Every Child, Everywhere" Kickstarter campaign and this video captures the actor's emotional reaction to the campaign's goal of $1 million being reached in only 11 hours after its launch.


LeVar Burton, one of the hosts of the classic TV series (and then app) Reading Rainbow, has recently launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign aimed at bringing the show to the web for children everywhere to experience.
