To honor the 50 years since The Beatles have first arrived in the United States and made their famous appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show back in February 1964, The New York Times offers a video featuring some statistics regarding "the most famous band in the world."
Half a century has passed since the Beatles' first American performance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Since then, they have sold more albums than any other band and left an unparalleled musical legacy.
