The premiere of the new Man of Steel in theaters is only a couple of days away, so graphic designer Kate Willaert, sponsored by HalloweenCostumes.com, thought this would be a great time to put together this visual history of Superman's iconic 'S' shield, from its beginnings, 75 years go, to the present day.
