Audition tapes of celebrities before they were famous to be auctioned

54 never-seen-before audition tapes of movie A-listers in their early careers are going up for action at Julien's Auctions and The Today Show's Matt Lauer gets to take a peek at some of them.

Check out a young Leonardo DiCaprio auditioning for the 1990 TV show The Outsiders, Brad Pitt, Robert Downey, jr. and Keanu Reeves going for Billy Baldwin's role in the firefighter movie Backdraft, Gwyneth Paltrow and Helen Hunt for Laura Dern's role in Jurassic Park, Nicole Kidman for Greta Scacchi's role in 1991's Shattered and Russel Crowe and Jennifer Connely's audition tape for A Beautiful Mind.
