A guy named Mike left a neighbor in Toms River, NJ, this note after breaking into his house to take shelter from the storm:
To find out if the note was legit or a hoax, Bayville radio station WOBM-FM, took the liberty of calling the phone number, to find out that Mike was alive and well.

I was in Hurricane Katrina, Rita and Sandy and Sandy was barely a storm.
