Comment on facebook: "This was a bad idea. Your little girl may look like an adult but her mind is still developing. You are acting as though an adult made that post on Facebook. The world is a tough place and I think that your daughter is beginning to see the fact that life is work. She don't like it now, but as her mind develops, she will adjust to it just like the rest of us. What is important right now is that Dad remains patient with Daughter and sets a good example for her. Daughter ought not post private family matters to Facebook. Dad ought not post private family matters to Facebook--but Dad did. Big mistake! Now Dad is acting like a teenage girl. Humiliating your daughter makes a wedge between the two of you at a time in her development when you ought to be reinforcing trust. Daughter made an inappropriate outburst but Dad has declared a war. In the future, I recommend confronting your daughter privately. Don't yell. Don't address the content of the post, address the post itself. It is inappropriate to air the families' dirty laundry on Facebook (for both daughter and dad)."
i agree to some extent with the above post, but he obviously had told her once before to not be disrespectful online about family and she did it again. I think what this dad did is pretty awesome. She might get really mad, but you can bet she'll never do it again! And its not just her...The internet can be such an amazing, resourceful, tool that can connect us with people all over the world, but theres the other half of the internet that is used for stupid and inappropriate things. Young teens, and kids even younger, take the freedom of the internet for granted and it really should'nt be allowed. From nudity, to inappropriate acts, child pornography, and countless other things.

Well done. That'll learn her.
