Boy gets hit by train, survives

CCTV footage shows the lad, 12, jumping onto the tracks in Sydney and running across to the opposite platform.

He is understood to have dashed across the railway lines to talk to a girl he had taken a fancy to.

Running back he is hit by a non-stop train which pins him against the platform, before he slips under.

But, incredibly, he survived thanks to a space underneath the lip of the platform, and can then be seen hauling himself back up.

The boy is understood to have been taken to hospital suffering with a broken elbow, broken leg and grazes.
