seliberately?
deliberately.
I'm disappointed Gandhi would send a letter to any world leader without proofreading it for typos first.
@June 1st poster - Gandhi was a simple man of simple means. He wrote from the heart to appeal to the heart and mind.
For those who despise Gandhi, let it be known that, it takes far greater and profounder intellect to understand him. It is not for us worldly creatures to comment on such great people as Gandhi and Mr. King. Re-read history and you will find that the methods of violence have always failed. Not for nothing did one of the greatest contemporary minds say this about Gandhi "Generations to come, it may well be, will scarce believe that such a man as this one ever in flesh and blood walked upon this Earth.”
Gandhi was a British trained Barrister. He was far from a fool.
He was definately not a fool. He made a typo, that is all.
