Bad driving on the Tour de France

A French TV car swerves to avoid a tree and accidentally hits Spanish biker Juan Antonio Flecha, crashing him into Johnny Hoogerland , sending them both tumbling to the ground, in the 9th circuit of the Tour De France.

Hoogerland fell in barbed wire and needed, after he completed the race on pure will, 36 stitches. So, respect for that.
How is this tagged 'funny'?
At least the driver can look back again and again at the moment that ruined his career...
