Video footage shows Scott Jones and Alex Thomas getting knocked down by the police during the Vancouver Stanley Cup riot last Wednesday, moments before "performing" their iconic riot kiss.

Honestly, I think over-analysing this has killed it. The pic is beaut and has a sense of not being involved and being caught in a happy little bubble away from the life around it. The vid and the context explanation take away that surreal sense of the picture and bring it back to real life where it's truly boring and kinda shizz. It would have been better if they remained anon and allowed it to be iconic.
