Tiger chokes on a piece of meat and dies in front of zoo visitors

Hermes, a 16-year-old tiger at the Blijdorp zoo in Rotterdam, Holland, received his last usual portion of meat last Thursday, before choking on it in a pretty violent manner and dying in front of visitors who caught it on camnera.

Zoo officials say he was suffering from chronic kidney problems bu whether that had to do with the problems to swallow the piece of meat is not clear.
