Kobe Bryant's homophobic slur

Thursday, April 14, 2011

Kobe Bryant shows his disapproval about referee Bennie Adams giving him a techincal foul, by calling him a "f*****g f*g", during Tuesday night's game against San Antonio Spurs.

The next day, NBA fined him $100,000 and in a public statement, Kobe said:
What I said last night should not be taken literally," he said. "My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.
