She's from Romania (fuck yeah!), her name is Rifca Stanescu, she's a member on the Gypsy ethnic community, and she's only 23 years old. She ran away with her husband when she was 11, gave birth to her first child Maria when she was 12, and Maria, who married at 10-years-old, gave birth to her own son Ion one year later.

You try giving birth at 11 and see how fucked up you look by 23.
I'm not like the sadface racist above, but I certainly hate how it's "okay" for certain ethnic groups to force their women down a lifelong path of child-rearing by keeping them away from education so they don't realise they can lead some kind of fulfilling life *and* have families.
She seems older than my mom. And my mom is 58...
