It's nice that Ms. Mary Cleave was kind enough to include an image of herself at the bottom right corner of her letter.

Mary Cleave was only the typist. This was probably a standard letter, as there is no indication that it was dictated to her.

Are we supposed to be in shock that in 1938 Disney hired employees in a sexist manner? They where the only ones doing such a thing at the time I'm sure....we should probably have some sort of media release about this and boycott Disney

At that time it was ok for a woman to stay home and do a more important job of raising a family.
Now so any women want a career and let the government raise their kids. Only one person needed to work to provivde income.
