You will see it but you will not believe it: Youtuber horseattack designed, built and coded this fully functional printer from scratch, using analog motor electronics, sensors, a printer driver, a lot of Lego parts and a sharpie, as the ink cartridge. He hooked it up to a Mac via USB and voilá:
