Good god... does nobody realize that rickrolling did't start as a link to the youtube video? It was originally a website that looped the song in a constantly moving window, and kept showing pop-up messages when the user attempted to close it. That's why it was so annoying. You couldn't just go back like you could with the youtube video...
I was rickrolled by my boyfriend....back in 2005. Except he wasn't pulling a prank on me, he just honestly thought I'd find the song sweet, I still feel like I was rickrolled.
