Dare is a waste, an effort that makes some people feel good because they think they are doing something, and the kids know is a joke. Used to know people who gave presentations in schools, usually when doing the drug show they were stoned.
yeah my dare officer was kicked off the force for cocaine use. probably was just a rumor. but who knows or cares?

did you just say that phelps took steroids? seriously, you've been watching too much espn. i don't know if you've heard, but steroids typically make you GAIN muscle mass, not lose it. if a swimmer were to take any type of PEDs, they would be ones similar to cyclists, endurance enhancing, blood-thinning drugs; which are different from steroids. This isn't baseball.

Drugs Are Really Entertaining
I took D.A.R.E as a kid, I smoked weed, dropped acid, munched some shrooms, heard things at work on angels trumpet, turned into speed racer on cocain and chilled in a makeshift opium tent...It really helped me explore the world of drugs.
Hells ya! As an ex D.A.R.E. student, I have to admit I've done drugs myself, wearing my old D.A.R.E. shirt while doing it, lol. ;-)~

agreed. little known fact is that pot doesn't really tar up the lungs like cigs and other drugs do. it takes a long time and a large amount of pot to get any kind of tar film goin on your lungs. and if he's swimming on a regular basis, and hitting a bong, his lungs are stretching out enough to stay in good shape. I was a chain cig smoker for 5 years before I got pregnant and quit cold turkey, but I walked for an hour almost every day so I didn't lose as much lung capacity as most people do.

Alright i went through D.A.R.E. twice, seriously will never work, as an avid pot smoker, i feel it would be alot easier to either tell kids in dare the truth about weed, and make it legal for 18+. Dont worry all you 17- year olds dont freak out it would still be as easy as getting alcohol or cigs no adays anyway.
