I can do that too. Nice to see the practice is catching on. It's not literally swallowing the tongue, btw
In Silence of the Lambs (book, not film) Hannibal tells his cell neighbour that it's possible to swallow his tongue. The next day the guards finds the neighbour dead from asphyxiation.
Swallowing your own tongue is deadly, so seriously - Don't try this at home!
