I would do the same thing, you want to ban all guns then see what would happen to this country, the crooks and the police would be the only ones with them. Lets see, how long does it take for the cops to get to your house? The last time I called them when a neighbor down the street was threating me it took them 2 1/2 hrs to get here, boy did I feel safe with them covering my back. NOT... I felt just fine with my trusty .45 1911 on my side. Cops are good for cleaning up the mess and fining people who break their laws, not protecting you.
Some things are only funny if you don't think about them...
