In south Germany and Austria these things are called "Sommerrodelbahn" (Summer sledding lane or something) and are quite common.
Try google images search for it.
Greetings!
There's something like this in Stowe, Vermont... it's called the Alpine Slide.
You also find it here in Sweden, dalecarlia (swedish name dalarna) in a village called Rättvik you can ride this summersledding (as we in sweden call "sommarrodel". I use to go there once every summer - it's fun as hell even when you bounce out the track. :D

You can translate "Sommerrodelbahn" to Summerbobslide. This is the Homepage of the Bobslide from the Video. Sorry, only German Language.

There's one of these in Canberra, Australia too. You have to sit on the toboggan as a chain hoist pulls you at a 45 degree angle to the top, really hurts your back. Most people get out and walk till it gets to the top cause it's quicker. :)
There is also one in Llandudno
