That's because they're not related. Mama had at least two eggs, and a relative of daddy's most likely. There was this family reunion of his, see, and their parents got to see all the hot cousins, etc., so after she bonked her horny hubby to sleep, she went and saw his hot brother. That's how she ended up with twins that barely look like each other, but are close enough nobody would dare get a DNA test.
There is no such thing as maternal twins, you idiot. I'm sticking with the fraternal theory, two eggs, two daddies, one hell of a family reunion party. Definitely not identical, and polar body twins (one egg, two spermies) would probably look more like each other.
