It happens in Don Carlos, in the Philippines, where apparently people are completely crazy. Horse fighting tournaments are being held here.
Not only the fighting horses get severely injured, some having their eyes popped out of their sockets, others their ears ripped off, but also the mare in heat, that's there only to determine the males to fight, has to mate with the winners, sometimes 30 in 6 hours. That is just wrong.

You're right about people being completely crazy in the Philippines. My mom is from there and the stories are something else; for example: every Easter, men volunteer to get crucified. To them, it's an honor.
people who fight horses are stupid and they should be punished for it. its just cruel and mean. and horses dont deserve to have cuts and broken bones and be bleeding because retarted people thinks is amusing. its just not right.
