i agree with the person that said put the photographer beside a shark. See how they like it. Playing dogs do not look like that. I would know, mine was attacked before.
People who think this is real are foolish.. And just because the dog has red in his mouth, doesn't mean it's blood.
It could be the natural color of his mouth, gingervitis, or he just ate something red... It's not like the other dog is bleeding or anything.

Yes most dogs will glare there teeth when the play but usually if the dog lets out a angry bark or when he growls he glares and lifts up is nose then one dog may get hurt.

You've got to be kidding me. These dogs are OBVIOUSLY PLAYING. If you notice, the larger dog is laying on its side letting the other play on top.
The shot was simply taken at the right moment (which is why it was posted).There's no "blood" in the dog's mouth, it's the dog's natural flesh tone.

I happened to come across this pic in a random Google search for dog pictures. For anyone who still cares, these two dogs belong to my aunt and uncle and my dad was the one who took the picture. They were playing around when the puppy was younger and my dad caught them on camera with these hilarious expressions on their faces. The little one (Reagan) is grown now and the two dogs still get along great. So all of you who think that this is a picture of some kind of dog fight need to calm down.
these are my dogs!!!! they were playing with eachother!! bunker and reagan love eachother, they are two peas in a pod. bunker is a few years older and when reagan was a puppy he used to torment him by running circle eights through his legs and jumping up on him. They are great dogs and they are always together. And by the way his mouth is not bleeding, maybe you people should turn the contrast down on your computers.......My cousin is right... you guys need to calm down!!!
Ha Ha !!! My husband took this picture when our chocolate lab and yellow lab were playing. The original story was in the Idaho Statesman. Its understandable that one would jump to the conclusion of its being photoshopped etc. Trust me, its the real deal. The funny thing is, our chocolate is normally very reserved, and our yellow is mischevious. This picture that is on this page, is not good quality, and if you saw the original, its a very good image. No blood was involved. Sorry to dissapoint. They are the best of friends.

Okay, I just want to say that this really shouldn't be a laughing matter if it really happened. I know that dog is laying down, and the pup might have a funny expression on his face, or whatever, but the other dog doesn't look happy... at all. Half the people that have posted here are fucking retards. The dogs are clearly playing, as the bigger dog is lying down, showing submission. Also, the blood is confined to the gums, not on the teeth or tongue, meaning the dog has gum disease, not puppy blood in it's mouth.
