Like others said, the tattoo itself is just BAD! There are so many fantastic tattoo artists out there......the guy who did that one is not one of them.

The implants ended up getting infected and rejecting. If you plan on getting implants... think about location and function!
I've head that thing got infected. Sounds true.
I read the whole story about this, and saw pictures. He got a horrible infection and had to have it all taken out. Incredibly, he said that after it heals up (IF it heals up), he was going to try it again.
i think it's a cool idea - i wonder why it got infected, if it would have been ok if it was done in a more sanitary environment.

wait until you see that the implants almost cost him his leg...he was here in Regina on a local radio station, and it wasn't pretty. He got infection for most of his leg, and almost lost his lower leg.

I have to wonder if the guy doing the procedure was just a tattoo artist. As opposed to a medical doctor. I mean, aside from infection, the cutting alone could've killed him if they didn't know where the artery was. Having a tattoo license is different than having a medical license. Do body-mod professionals have to undergo any physiology or medical training at all? Cutting a leg open is a lot different than puncturing the cartilege in your ear lobe/nostril, etc.
