Back to the Future Hoverboard from Mattel
Movie-accurate down to the smallest detail and fully sanctioned by Universal Studios, this is a 1:1 scale model (measures approximately 28" x 8" x 3"). Our Hoverboard includes authentic "whooshing" sounds sampled directly from the films and a deco featuring Mattel logos just like in the films. And although full hovering technology isn't expected until 2015, be assured your Hoverboard will gently glide over most level surfaces (it will not, however, work on water).

In the movie Back to the future II, the hero rides a pink hoverboard and saves the day, etc. a really prevalent legend that circulated round the schools once this movie came out was that some toy company had truly developed a operating hoverboard, and were going to release it as before long because the movie was out of theaters. the discharge of the board not occurring, the rumor was appended to be such somebody had been killed/severely burned within the playtesting of the hoverboard, and also the resulting suit from the child’s parents kept the hoverboard from being ever place into production.
