An East Bay woman was recovering Wednesday following corrective surgery after she attempted to perform plastic surgery on her own face. Her doctor said the tough economy and the easy availability of supplies online has caused an uptick in the potentially disfiguring practice.via
The woman, who asked that we not reveal her name is 54, a mother of three, with a career in the public eye. She said that after a visit to a plastic surgeon, she went online and bought a vial of liquid silicone for ten dollars, then injected it into her lips and cheek four weeks ago.
“Insane. I can't believe I did what I did,” she said. “I thought I was going to be happy with the results, then the next day, my face became very inflamed, very red, swollen.”

Mexican authorities say two professional wrestlers found dead in a hotel in the country's capital may have been fatally drugged by a gang of female robbers.
Autopsies are being performed on the two midget wrestlers, one of whom went by the name La Parkita, meaning Little Death, and wore a skeleton costume in the ring. The other was known as Espectrito Jr.
Authorities said the two women were seen leaving the men's Mexico City hotel room before the bodies were discovered on Monday.
Miguel Angel Mancera, a prosecutor, said gangs of female robbers were experienced in using drugs to knock men out before robbing them but these robbersmay have used too strong a dose.
That may have been because of the wrestlers' stature, although larger men have died in similar crimes.

I know it makes people feel better when a famous person or someone they know dies, though think that they are in Heaven. This is why I have literally given my life 24/7/365 these past 20 years for the Gospel, because the FACT is, those who die without Jesus will not be in Heaven, but in the flames of hell for all eternity. What you believe matters, and based on what he believes, Michael Jackson is not in Heaven, but in eternal torment and punishment for his sins.via
I realize many people will point out all of the great humanitarian deeds Jackson did during his life, the multi millions he has given to charity and those are wonderful acts that should be commended. But we can't work or buy our way into Heaven. No amount of money or good works saves you, only faith in Christ and God's grace (Ephesians 2:8,9).
The fact is, Michael Jackson like all men is born into this life with sin in addition to those sins he has committed during his life, and it is that sin that separates him from a Holy God. The moment he died he stood before God and the number of records he sold, the number of people who saw him perform, all of his good deeds didn't mean anything. The ONLY thing that mattered was the he rejected the Jesus of the Bible by faith as his Lord and Savior.
They invested a lot of money to maintain its exterior and interior. The exterior remains almost intact. They made a restoration, instead of a renovation (which would be 3 times cheaper).
If it were not for them, who knows what would have happened to this church as it was in a poor condition. The couple however readapted the interior to give it a home atmosphere.

Was trying video on my new iPhone 3G S at the pool and dropped it in the pool. Don't know if it's waterproof, but it still works fine. I had a few people comment on seeing a strap in the video. I have a rubber cover and had put a strap through the earpiece hole to avoid just this type of thing. I didn't have it on my wrist at the time, but believe me, I will from now on!!!! Maybe the rubber cover helped with it not getting damaged. (Youtube)via
