What's wrong with having a concealed handgun? Many many people have a permit to carry a handgun. I do and I carry a lot of the time. Nearly always when I go out in public.

It doesn't say there is anything wrong with it, it just gives a few hints on how to tell if someone has one. If I'm about to slit your throat, it's useful information to have, it might affect whether I come from the front or the rear. When I come up behind someone, they generally don't know it, and if they do, I'll know they do.

Preferably is coming face to face with your target. They aren't expecting anything, but are usually alert, since they are alone and looking at someone that probably makes them very nervous. If they have a gun, the shooting hand positions itself to grab the gun, which can be seen and prepared for. Then, as you pass, the throat is usually exposed, so pulling the knife already in your hand out and slitting the throat can happen faster than they can react.

If the hit was lucky, you get hit by the streams of blood as they fly out of the targets neck. If you're in the mood, you can get covered in their blood as you watch them slip away.

Once they are done with the death spasms, you can do what you planned to do, and get out of there.

I don't see anything wrong with people carrying a gun, and I'd much rather they keep it concealed, because it would make me nervous to see a gun on the hip of some of these idiots around here. You never know when you might need one, you can take out tires on speeding cars, open locks, open a window without getting up, get a better place in line at the DMV. But it's never been something I needed. They are fun, but never in public, and none of the shootings I've been to could have been stopped by another gun. Although the ones with more guns were more entertaining.
