DJ Prince Charles

Wednesday, May 23, 2012

Everywhere he goes, the Prince of Wales likes to try on new things. Earlier this month, we've seen him doing the weather report for BBC in Scotland. Now he's DJ-ing in Toronto.

During his 4-day trip to Canada as part Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Prince Charles visited Yonge Street Mission, an organization dedicated to helping young people develop new skills, where instructor DJ Loquenz guided him through the basics of mixing, and he tried some scratching and fading.

This video was shot at the UforChange DJ Studio in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Shout outs to DJ Loquenz, DJ Sean Roman, Helen and Juan for giving HRH The Prince of Wales some pointers.

UforChange works with new Canadian and low-income youth living in and around St. James Town to inspire them and give them the tools to succeed by providing support and resources to pursue higher education, volunteering and/or employment opportunities. We connect youth with professionals, artists, and community leaders who help them to use the arts as a vehicle for economic, cultural and social change.
