The future is now: Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer developed by Crypton Future Media, from Yamaha's Vocaloid synthesizing technology. Her name is Japanese for first (初, hatsu), sound (音, ne) and future (Miku (ミク).

Shows how far we have gotten with 3D holograms. But I did not think it was to a point where it could be used in a practical environment.

that's SO stupid, why would you go to a concert to see a 3D hologram instead of an artist, or a band LIVE?? Gosh I hate Japenese people and their pointless use of technology..
